本科课程与标准委员会负责审批, 评估, 维持大学的本科教育计划. 具体地说, the committee is charged with five goals: 1) develop the course submission and assessment guidelines and procedures pertaining to general education requirements; 2) review and approve applications for courses to be designated as general education courses; 3) review departmental assessments of their general education courses; 4) review and approve applications for new and/or interdisciplinary curricular initiatives including, 但不限于, 新的专业和辅修, study abroad opportunities and team taught courses; and 5) review, 发起和/或批准本科课程和学术政策的变更.
